is "Send Date" always necessary when creating a Bill?

If I don't need to enable email notify, autopay or recurring bill when creating a bill, why would the send date input still be necessary?

You are required to select a send date before you can save/create a bill, but I'm not sure why else it would be needed (something I'm missing?)

It is not mentioned in the help text (like it should be), but the Send Date is also used to represent the date that your vendor sent their invoice/your bill to you. So it is used for the email reminder(notify) date, the date to clone a new bill if recurring is set, and also as the billing date. I will add "/Billing" to the Send Date label too, so it is more clear without having to read the help text to be able to figure it out.

Hopefully this answers your question. Thanks for bringing it up, it was not clear enough the way it was.
