flowlog is a web application built with PHP, HTML, Javascript and CSS using the Laravel PHP framework. It is developed and tested on Arch Linux with the latest versions of Firefox and Chromium (the open source code base of the proprietary Chrome browser), though tested with Chromium much less. Officially, flowlog.net will only attempt to support (make work with) web browsers and operating systems released under a Free Software license, but any modern, standards compliant web browser on any modernesque operating system should work just fine.

Note: there are known issues with Safari. Html5 date input is not fully supported in some cases. Check your browser's html5 date input support status here. Please see the issue tracker and/or forum for more details on that. Members are advised to use Firefox or Chrome, especially if using OSX or IOS.

One of flowlog's main design goals is to be light weight and fast. Javascript is used sparingly with no ajax, for example. flowlog should run well on any reasonably recent hardware. If you have an older machine you are considering using, feel free to test it out first using the demo.

Recommended Software

flowlog.net recommends up-to-date Firefox on an up-to-date Gnu+Linux Distribution.
