Documentation -> flowlog.net -> flowlog Source Code

Where's the source code of this supposed "Free Software"?

"Free" as in "Freedom", not "Free" as in "Free Doughnuts". As part of flowlog's funding and sustainability model, flowlog source code is licensed and made available to annual/yearly flowlog.net supporting members under the terms of the AGPL. Anyone who wishes to self-host flowlog, or any monthly flowlog.net member who wants to view or download source code, can change their account renewal frequency to annual/yearly, and once they have contributed funds under that schedule, a new "source code" page will appear in the support section of flowlog.net. We don't want the barrier to be too high for people to have source, but we want to distribute source code to contributing members; people who are invested in flowlog's future. Thank you for your support!

What's included in the ditributed source?

In the interest of full disclosure, the source code that is distributed on the source code page is flowlog "proper". I.E. the bookkeeping & accounting part, not code that is specific to flowlog.net like the issue tracker, forum, screencasts, blog, static web pages and any flowlog admin features that have to do solely with flowlog.net usage. For instance, the user data encryption method used in the distributed source is At Rest Encryption, instead of flowlog.net's Autonomous Account Encryption, which makes more sense for self-hosted flowlog. Also, the self hosted "version"/download is not a reduced feature set in regards to flowlog itself. The bookkeeping/accounting stuff is all the same as the flowlog.net hosted flowlog.
