The books dashboard is the page to get a quick overview of the current state of a set of books.
It breaks your books down into it's categories, and shows the accounts in that category as a pie graph. It also includes a list on the side, with the current balance of each account, and the color key for the pie graph. You can also hover over any pie slice to get the percentage of the category that that account represents.
Finally, it shows the balance of each category.
Please note: The books dashboard is mearly an organized overview of your accounts by category and only includes actual accounts and account categories. It does not include calculated values like Net Income, which could otherwise be shown in the equity section. For the full financial "picture" see the reports section of flowlog.
