Depreciable Assets Report now available

  • depreciable assets
  • deprec assets summary
  • deprec assets details

flowlog's Depreciable Assets report makes viewing your depreciable assets' depreciation history easy and clear to understand.

The Depreciable Assets report starts with the summary page/view which lists depreciable assets by the depreciable asset account they belong to and provides an overview of the current status for each depreciable asset. This includes the depreciable asset's name, beginning value, accumulated depreciation and resulting current value, as well as a button to view the depreciation transactions for that asset.

Clicking on the "transactions" button redirects you to the detail page/view for the particular depreciable asset. This page shows every entry item, related to depreciation, that has effected the value of the depreciable asset. Each line item includes the date, entry id, account name and the amount for each entry item. At the bottom, the depreciation expense and accumulated depreciation are summed up. Finally, the original asset value and the current asset value are presented.

Previously, a flowlog.net member would have had to go find this information in the entries manually. This report simply grabs that data and presents it in one place. We hope you enjoy the new feature and thanks for supporting flowlog!
